Meet the People & Organizations Making a Difference

Human trafficking affects every country in the world, and it is the third most profitable organized crime in the world. It does not discriminate; all ages, genders, races, and socio-economic levels are impacted. To win a fight of this magnitude, it will take a village – a global village. Meet the women, men, and organizations who share their ideas, time, and money to help raise awareness to stop human trafficking through Win This Fight. If you’d like to join us and be part of something amazing, become a partner or sponsor through our Alliances for GOOD.

Mitzi Perdue

Mitzi Perdue

Founder & Chairman

Soon after hearing a seminar on the horrors of human trafficking, Mitzi Perdue became inspired. With a history of leadership in charitable organizations and a talent for mobilizing people toward a common cause, she had the vision to build a world-class nonprofit organization that could make a real impact on the organizations that are rescuing and rehabilitating victims of human trafficking. Her bold idea was to build a nonprofit like no other the world has seen, a nonprofit founded to fundraise differently and more effectively.

In April 2019, Win This Fight was born. With a proven leader at the helm, Win This Fight is working towards achieving a goal of raising 100 million dollars by 2021 through live auctions, online auctions, and fundraising events. It’s an astonishingly large feat but one that is achievable based on Mitzi’s proven track record of success with her tenure as president of a 35,000-member American Agri-Women organization, her accomplishments as a renowned syndicated environmental columnist, and her past position as United States Delegate for the United Nations Decade on Women in Nairobi. Add in her astute reputation of possessing high integrity, genuine disposition, and welcoming personality, and there is no doubt the goal will be met. After all, as Mitzi explains, “One million dollars provides necessities to 150 women for their first 30 days out of the “the (trafficking) life. We need lots of millions to help 40 million people beyond just 30 days.”

As the founder and chairman of the board, Mitzi works diligently to build the organization’s opportunities for successful gifting. Rallying corporations, families, universities, celebrities and communities to become involved to stop the scourge of inhumane behavior, Mitzi is a woman on the move. Leaning on her experience as a respected author, speaker, businesswoman, and philanthropist, Mitzi activated and implemented her idea, and is now scaling her organization to bring freedom to those captured and abused and to save as many lives as possible. She hopes that people who hear about the global efforts to raise funding through Win This Fight can change their thinking about human trafficking from, “This is so terrible!” to “I can do something about it!”
